Malwarebytes has become industry standard software, which is used to scan and remove malicious software from your computer.

There are 2 versions of Malwarebytes available. A free version, and a paying version.

Using the free version means you will have to manually run scan yourself, say every week, 2 weeks or so.

The paying version will protect your computer in real rime, so it will scan for threats automatically.

​

There is no right or wrong. Just make sure you manually scan regularly if you are using the Free version.
